About us

Our Objective
Nothing is quite as tough as arriving in a new country with a young family and not knowing a soul ... In keeping with the mission of the Club, we offer a range of educational and cultural programs including language teaching, nutrition, exercise, understanding the US educational and medical systems, and insights into the many cultures represented by the Club’s membership.

Club Days
Most of our activities take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays mornings (September to May) at St Joseph on the Brandywine's Family Center. Babysitting is available during club hours for a nominal fee. A wide range of activities such as Cuisine, Craft, Language Classes, Healtly Lifestyle, Book Club, Tours, and Special Events are offered for members during the week. More about Activities

History
In 1988 three American women had a vision. After recently returning to the U.S. with their husbands from overseas assignments with the DuPont Company, they decided to organize an “International Wives Group” for DuPont spouses. The Club eventually broadened its scope to welcome all foreign and American women from the Greater Wilmington area having an interest in international experiences.
